Receptionist (m/f/d), full-time
Perhaps you have spent many years in a job you do well. Perhaps family and home have been at the centre of things lately. And now it is time for a new chapter, with responsibility, clear routines and guests who notice the care you take.
With us, you are responsible for the reception and for a first-class guest experience: you are the face of the house, from the first phone call to the final farewell. You work alongside Robin and Wiebke, with thorough training and a close-knit team.
Running the reception
- You check our guests in and out and are their first point of contact in the house
- On the phone you are the voice of the hotel, and you answer enquiries by email and via the booking platforms
- You find the right room for every guest and the right inspiration for their stay, from the wine estate to a hike along the Rheinsteig
- You look after reservations and invoices in our booking system
- You work closely with housekeeping, our caretaker and our restaurateur
Experience and attitude
- Previous experience in hotels, or relevant experience in a senior customer service role
- A strong work ethic: you are reliable, happy to roll up your sleeves and you see things through
- A genuine liking for people, with calm and good humour even on the busiest days
- Excellent German and excellent English, as many of our guests come from abroad
- Confidence with computers; we will teach you our booking system
